Farmacy Weekly Report 2026 Week #15

Eggplant, garlic, pitta bread and hummus on a tabletop

Hey foodie! 👋🌿

Hope you're having a lovely Easter long weekend and are enjoying some quality time with family and friends.

Our first week as Joy Wholefoods has really flown by! 💛 Thank you so much for all the kind messages, support, and feedback… we’ve been reading every single heartfelt message, and it honestly means the world to us.

Behind the scenes this week, we’ve got fresh produce rolling in, delivery drivers working hard on the long weekend, and a whole lot of good food making its way into your homes (which we’ll never get sick of seeing).

Before we crack on with the details, though, we’ve got a little game for ya…

Can you guess which product we sold the most of last month?

🥛 Full cream milk

🫐 Blueberries

🥚 Eggs

🥩 Beef mince

Hit reply with your guess - if you guess right, you might just find a little gift in your next box!

Now, onto the food…

🌿 FROM THE FARMS 🌿

🍆 Organic Black Globe Eggplant - Various Local Farmers

If eggplant’s not already in your regular rotation, it might be time for you to change that. These ones are certified organic and grown in the Somerset Region - full of flavour, and grown the way they should be.

Hot tip: Roast until it’s soft and golden, then blend with garlic, tahini, lemon, salt and pepper for a seriously good babaganoush.

🍑 Sweet Plums – Various Local Farmers

These juicy little beauties are sweet, slightly tart, and seriously moreish... They’re packed with fibre, antioxidants, and vitamin C, making them a pretty great snack.

Stone fruit season is coming to a close, so they won’t be around for much longer... consider this your sign to enjoy them while you can 💛

🐑 A QUICK UPDATE FROM DJULAROO LAMB 🐑

After this week’s delivery, Djularoo will sadly be pausing their lamb supply due to the ongoing dry conditions.

Over the past year, they’ve done everything they can to manage the land responsibly - adjusting paddocks, allowing recovery time - but without rain, there comes a point where stepping back is the only option.

We’re incredibly grateful to have worked with them and to have been able to share their beautiful lamb with you.

It’s never an easy call, but it’s one made with the long-term health of their land and animals front of mind, which is exactly why we love working with farmers like Dugald & Jen.

Randal and Juanita are already on the lookout for a new producer who shares those same values, and we’ll keep you in the loop when we find the right fit.

That’s all from us, folks! 💛

Thank you for being a part of this amazing food community 🌱We couldn’t do it without you. Hope you have a wonderful long weekend full of connection, joy and of course… chocolate!
