Farmacy Weekly Report 2026 Week #20

Lemons and lemonade on a table

Hey foodie! 👋

Hope you had a wonderful weekend! 💛 Did you miss us? 👀

Our Weekly Foodie Update accidentally enjoyed an extra-long weekend because we forgot to send it 😅

Anyway, better late than never, and luckily the produce is still just as delicious.

Firstly, to all the incredible mums, grandmas, mother figures, and nurturers in our community - Happy Mother’s Day for yesterday 🌸

Now, onto the really good, local food…

🌿 FROM THE FARMS 🌿

🍋 Spray-Free Lemonade Fruit – Gayndah’s Big Orange

If you haven’t tried lemonade fruit before, you gotta.

It’s a naturally sweet citrus fruit - somewhere between a mandarin and a lemon - with a refreshing flavour that’s completely unique.

Grown using organic farming methods by the Richards family in Gayndah, these are delicious eaten fresh, juiced, or added to sparkling water for a very fancy-feeling homemade drink

🍊 Imperial Mandarins – Gayndah’s Big Orange

New season Imperial mandarins are officially here, and they are so good 👀

Sweet, juicy, and packed with citrusy goodness, these are the kind of snacks that mysteriously disappear from the fruit bowl very quickly.

They’re also loaded with vitamin C, potassium, and folate, so your immune system will be pretty happy about it too. 💛

🥦 Organic Baby Broccoli – Cafresco Organics, VIC

Some weeks it’s green, some weeks it’s purple… but every week it’s delicious.

Certified organic and absolutely packed with vitamin C (one cup is said to contain around 135% of your daily intake 👀), baby broccoli is one of those veggies that’s both ridiculously good for you and genuinely tasty.

Roast it, grill it, toss it through pasta, or keep it simple with olive oil and sea salt.

🥝 THIS WEEK’S RECIPE 🥝

Make sure you check out this week’s salsa recipe below - it’s fresh, colourful, and made using seasonal ingredients that are absolutely thriving right now 🌿

That’s all for this week’s update 🌱

Hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead filled with laughter, a whole lotta love and the gift of good food!
