Holey moley it’s an exciting week at the farms this week. With a bit of rain around, autumn produce is properly kicking into gear, and we’re oh so thrilled to share it all with you…
🌿 FROM THE FARMS 🌿
🌱 Fennel Bulbs – Cafresco Organics, VIC
Fennel’s one of those veggies that feels a bit intimidating… but it’s actually super easy once you know what to do with it. Roast it with a bit of broth until it’s soft and caramelised, or slice it thinly into a salad with citrus segments (check out our Grapefruit, Fennel and Avo recipe below.)
🥝 Organic Kiwi Fruit – Comboyne Organic Orchards, NSW
Sweet, juicy, and seriously underrated. These spray-free kiwi fruits are great for keeping things moving (if you know, you know 😏), and they’re also a natural source of melatonin - so they might even help you get a better night’s sleep.
🥦 Organic Cauliflower – Fordsdale Fresh Organics, QLD
If you’re a cauliflower fan, this is your moment. Roast it, blitz it into soup, turn it into rice, mash it, or toss it through a salad - one veggie, endless options.
🥔 Organic Nicola Potatoes – Bio Farms, TAS
These are a bit of a hidden gem. With their creamy yellow flesh and waxy texture, Nicola potatoes hold their shape beautifully when cooked - making them perfect for roasting, salads, or anything where you don’t want them falling apart. Mild, nutty, and very versatile.
🍊 Organic Tangelos – Boruca Farm, QLD
Back in season! Sweet, juicy, and somewhere between a mandarin and a grapefruit - these are a great little citrus hybrid that’s easy to love. Perfect on their own, or paired with coconut yoghurt for a simple brekkie or dessert.
🍅 Organic Cherry Truss Tomatoes – Lower Don Organics, QLD
These are seriously good. Fresh, juicy, and full of flavour - the kind that makes even the simplest meals taste better.
🥬 Organic English Spinach – Coolibah Herbs, VIC
A true kitchen staple. Toss it through a quick garlic sauté, add it to soups, blend it into smoothies, or fold it through eggs for an easy, nutrient-packed brekkie.
🍠 Red Sweet Potatoes – Oaklands Farms, QLD
A colourful, comforting staple. Slightly less sweet than gold varieties, with a more earthy flavour and a texture that holds up beautifully when roasted. Perfect for adding a bit of colour to your Sunday roast.
🥛 Update From Barambah Dairy
You might notice a pretty hefty price increase across some of our Barambah Dairy products.
With the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, there have been global supply chain disruptions (including rising costs of materials and fuel), to increased demand for organic dairy and higher farm gate milk prices.
It’s one of those situations where the cost of doing things properly has gone up... and unfortunately, that flows through.
As always, we’re committed to supporting producers like Barambah who are doing things the right way, and we really appreciate you being part of that with us 💛

Our much-loved Maiko, the absolute backbone of our packing team, is heading off on an overseas adventure later this year ✈️
We’re looking for someone special to step in and learn the ropes alongside her.
Training will kick off in May (2–3 days per week), with the potential for ongoing work from July/August (4–5 days per week) and room to grow into a longer-term role.
