Farmacy Weekly Report 2026 Week #31

Fresh Broccoli on chopping board on a brown kitchen bench

Hey foodie! 👋🥦

The farms have been keeping busy lately, and there are plenty of beautiful seasonal goodies making their way into this week's harvest. Broccoli, in particular, is extra fresh right now, so make sure you grab some this week and get Broccin'. 😄

We hope you enjoy this week's foodie update!

🌿 From the Farms 🌿

🥕 Parsnips are back!

We're excited to welcome fresh organic parsnips from Bauers Organic Farm at Mt Sylvia. If you've been waiting for them to return, now's your chance.

🍅 Tomatoes are looking amazing

Both round and Roma tomatoes have come down in price this week, and they are absolutely beautiful. In fact, just about everything coming out of the farms right now is looking incredible. Crisp greens, sweet citrus, vibrant root vegetables... it's one of our favourite times of year for fresh produce.

📦 Around the Warehouse

It's been a very big week behind the scenes!

Our wonderful head packer Maiko is still enjoying Japan for another month, and this week much of the remaining packing team was either away or battling the flu. That meant Kristen and Trev were back on the packing bench every day, just as everyone started restocking after the school holidays.

Thankfully, Kristen's amazing friends Tammy and Cassie came to the rescue on Wednesday and spent the day helping us pack. We honestly feel so blessed to have friends who are willing to jump in and lend a hand at such short notice.

Getting more than 100 boxes packed and loaded onto delivery vans before 8am, packing another 100 boxes ready for the following day, while also receiving pallets of fresh produce from our farmers throughout the morning, definitely isn't a one person job! Their help made all the difference.

As exhausting as the week was, there was one thing that made every long day worthwhile. Seeing so many familiar names come through the orders. Every week we pack boxes for families we've been feeding for years, and we never take that support for granted. Thank you for trusting us to fill your kitchens with real food.

🍽️ Meal Kit Corner

Meal kits are absolutely flying out the door!

We can't believe how popular they've become over the past few weeks, and we're already planning another round of delicious recipes with our favourite nutritionist, Casey Lee Lyons. If you haven't tried them yet, now's the perfect time to see what all the fuss is about.

🍫 Back on the Shelves

Loco Love has officially been restocked! If your chocolate stash has been looking a little sad, now's your chance to top it back up.

💚 Growing the Joy

Last week we welcomed 33 new customers to Joy Wholefoods!

A huge thank you to everyone who's been sharing your orders on social media, posting unboxing videos, cooking our meal kits and telling your friends about us. Word of mouth has always been our biggest source of growth, and every share genuinely helps.

Our rebrand is really starting to pay off too. We're now regaining and even surpassing our previous Google rankings, which means more families are discovering Joy every week.

The next exciting step? Our tired old delivery vans are about to be replaced with fresh new Joy branded ones. We can't wait to brighten up the streets and spread a little more Joy across South East Queensland.

Until next week, here's to good food and full hearts. ❤️

Thank you for continuing to support local farmers and fill your kitchens with food that's been grown with care. We hope you enjoy all the seasonal goodness coming through right now.
