Hey foodie! 👋🌿
It was a bit of a quiet one last week with everyone off enjoying the Easter break… and that goes for the farms too! But we’ve still got some fun bits and pieces to share with you.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been busy lining up some seriously good-value options for you, while getting a kick out of your Easter colouring-in masterpieces (more on that below).

✨ SPECIALS FROM THE FARMS ✨
🥑 Hass Avocados – Farmer Nigel, Mt Tamborine
Creamy, dreamy, and grown in rich volcanic soil with no sprays or chemicals, just how avocados should be. Perfect for smashing on toast, blending into smoothies, or whipping up a very respectable guac. And if you’re not a Sheperd avo fan, now could be a good time to make the most of these bad boys.
🫑 Green Capsicum – Stefano Coco, Stanthorpe
Fresh, crisp, and ready to be stuffed. There’s a delicious stuffed capsicum recipe in this week’s Good Food News (which comes with your box, if you didn’t already know), so consider this your sign to get some capsicums.
🍎 Summer Delicious Apples – Mario Giacosa, Stanthorpe
Apples are often one of the most heavily sprayed fruits, which is why these are such a good find. Grown without chemicals in Stanthorpe, they’re crisp, sweet, and a much better option for everyday snacking.
🎨 A LITTLE JOY FROM THE COMMUNITY 🎨
We’ve been absolutely loving all the artwork coming in from the Easter colouring-in activity 🥹💛
So many creative little (and not-so-little) legends out there, thank you to everyone who got involved! Check out the masterpieces below.
If there’s ever anything you’d love to see in the Good Food News, let us know. We’re always up for new ideas 👀
And that’s what’s been happening this week. 👏
Good food, good people, and a community that makes this whole thing pretty special to be part of 🌱
