These beautiful Australian grown Biodynamic Rolled Oats are grown by Stephen and Tania Walter at Burrum Biodynamics on the Wimmera Plains of western Victoria. Unlike most organic oats sold in Australia, these are grown locally rather than imported from Finland.
Certified Demeter Biodynamic, these oats are grown without synthetic fertilisers or pesticides. Instead, Stephen and Tania use biodynamic preparations, cover crops and long crop rotations to build healthy, living soil that produces nutritious, resilient crops.
The Mitika oat variety is known for its naturally creamy texture and mild flavour. Gently steam rolled (rather than quick cooked), these oats hold their shape while cooking into the perfect creamy porridge.
They're delicious in porridge, bircher muesli, homemade granola, baking or wherever you enjoy rolled oats.
