Dragonfruit truly is a superfood! Packed with prebiotics, vitamins and minerals, it's great for your gut and immune system.
These beautiful fruits are large and hail from Farmer Kel's farm at Sandy Creek. Grown without any sprays and only using mulch to deal with weeds.
Dragonfruit originates from Central America but is also grown in other tropical countries such as Australia.
To eat, cut in half and either scoop out the flesh or cut in quarters and peel back the beautiful skin. It has a mildly sweet flavour, similar to a combo of kiwi fruit and pear and has a soft flesh. Dragonfruit is rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C.
